I read this one in roughly 45 minutes. It's a novella, so it reads quickly, but also reads fast because it's dang good. There is so much story packed in, that it felt like a full novel. How did I feel after reading this one? I was frustrated that I don't have the second book! I absolutely loved this one.
Sienna lives an interesting life. I was intrigued after reading the synopsis, but I didn't fully understand the reasoning behind Sienna choice to be an Eve until I really got into the story. There is a reason Sienna joined the Eve's. She's good at what she does because she maintains a distance. She has vowed not to let anyone get into her heart. She's been there done that and it hurt bad. So...that's pretty much where we leave off. We know that Sienna has been wounded badly in the past. We also know that she has a connection with her next client. Intrigued yet? You should be.
Overall, I really loved this. I got so into the story that I was shocked when it was over. I'm anxiously waiting for the next novella called Scandal in Seattle, which may release sometime in June. If you are a fan of unique Adult Contemporaries, definitely check this one out. It was fun, sexy, and left me wanting more!

This is the type of heroine that I just love. Strong, witty, smart and badass. I don't understand why more heroine's aren't like Eve. This is the type of woman I would totally want to be.
This is a series, with a slight cliffhanger. It really seems to introduce us to what she does, and the character that the Eve is. I am really excited to see what Nicole Williams does with this and for the next installment. She says that a new book in the series will be released each month, so hopefully not too long of a wait for the next one!
Though I said cliffhanger, I highly suggest reading this still. There's definitely closure to the book, and it just opens up for what is going to happen next. Only about 150 pages, I read this in one sitting.
Like I said, love a badass heroine. I feel almost...more powerful after this read. You know, almost like a book that gives you advice on how to get what you want from a man. ;)

This book showedvgreat promise, but did not deliver. I feel like i got tricked and ripped off. I have read all of this authors other books and loved them. This one was felt like i paid for the back story. The idea of yhe story is great. Her writing pulled me in as always. Then no story; it just ends. Very disappointed.

I totally loved this concept and story. It's Sienna's job to is to seduce married men, in order for their wives to be able to divorce them and still get a payout.
This book is more of a book that will lay the ground work for future books. It takes you through a job Sienna works. From her meeting the client, meeting the mark, the seduction and the wrap up.
Although nothing magical happened in the book, other then a good quick story, it foreshadows the upcoming drama in book two, including hopefully finding out what took place to make Sienna take this path.
If I'm being honest with myself, it sounds like an awesome job. Perhaps I have a secret ambition to be a call girl or something but the idea of getting paid major money to seduce a man, and help a woman get out of a marriage with a low life cheater, sounds like an awesome, though tiring job.
I get that this wasn't the best review because I am having a hard time putting into words how I feel about it.
Just go read it for yourself already and stop reading my ramble!
I don't play favorites. OK. Maybe I do. But, my favorites are in that position because they're GREAT. And Nicole Williams is one of those greats. I took no time at all to put this book at the top of my TBR list and when Nicole was looking for bloggers, I jumped at the chance to read it! Once I sat down with this book I was consumed and couldn't get enough. It's a raw and risque read, that I enjoyed every second of.
Nicole Williams is an artist! This latest creation of hers happens to be a masterpiece and I can't wait for more of this collection. She has created a mini series, if you will, of novellas to be released consecutively. To better explain how this new series will work I have included some information from Nicole's blog:"Have you all ever had a favorite television show you positively couldn't wait to watch? Where you were on pins and needles waiting to find out what happened in the following episode? I know I have and I wanted to translate this into a book series. Each installment (episode) will be about 20,000-30,000 words and a new installment will be released about every month."To see the whole post, click here.
Nicole is the author of the Crash series, Up in Flames, and the Eden series. She is an extremely talented writer who has this ability to create worlds out of words and feelings out of sentences, she is magnificent. Her books are unbelievable and I recommend them to everyone, especially to fans of Abbi Glines, Tammara Webber, and Liz Reinhardt.
Back to the book at hand. It's a story about the Eves. The whole world surrounding this new series is extremely fascinating and easy to get caught up in. Nicole had it right when on her blog she said "This is something totally different. Something edgy. Something sexy." It is way different than not only her other books, but other stories in general. The main character is a glorified con-artist/prostitute. I don't like the term but that's the best way to simply describe it. Call it what you will, what the Eves do is seduce men for money from their wives. These are women who got stuck in a nasty marriage with a pre-nup staring them in the face and they want out, for whatever reason; and that's where the Eves come in. This book was brilliant, it was like being behind the lines; it was thrilling and incredibly sexy.
Sienna is cocky and confident, but it's taken her time to get there. Emotions pushed aside she trudges on looking for a large pay day that will allow her to leave this life in the past. But, while looking forward she sometimes glimpses back at the mess she was before her career change, at the disastrous wake a man left and she buries that history and continues on."I was a girl channeling my need for revenge on a worth cause."To see Sienna work her magic was captivating. She's a chameleon of a character and an awesome leading lady.
This part 1 is a fast and easy read, only about 90 pages, and by the end it develops into what is sure to be a fantastic over all series. The background and set up this book does is sure to make the other books flow effortlessly after. The ending all about killed me, I'm talking total cliffhanger that left me pining for the next installment, Scandal in Seattle.
I gave this book 3.5 stars.
*I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for honest review*
Great Exploitations sounded like a fun, intriguing read. It follows ‘Sienna Stevens’ who works for a very exclusive organisation known as The Eves. This group of ladies work in the art of seduction and entrapment. Wives use the service to annul their pre-nup to their wealthy spouses, after they are caught in the act of infidelity set up of course by the Eve assigned to them.
This was a short story and I liked how it was split into the different parts of the ruse.
The Meet ~ meeting between the Eve and the jilted spouse to exchange details of the target.
The Greet ~ the Eve sets her sights on the wayward husband and lures him in.
The Heat ~ after the initial meeting, the Eve plays hard to get, to have the target wanting more.
The Sheets ~ self explanatory, the pinnacle of the operation where photographic evidence is obtained of the cheating husband in the act with the Eve.
The Sweet ~ deal is done, the Eve gets her pay, the wife has what she needs and the husband has no idea what is coming his way!
I loved the author’s writing style. ‘Sienna’ came across as a confident self assured woman, good at what she does. I also liked the moments where ‘Sienna’s background was introduced and we found out why she got involved with the Eve’s in the first place and underneath that confident exterior she was in fact just an insecure lonely girl, wanting to make enough money to get out of the business and live a normal life.
I would have liked to have learned more about ‘Sienna’ as a real person, out with the Eve’s- even her name was an alias. Although I do suspect over the next few books in the series we will get to know her better. At the end of this story, the man who broke ‘Sienna’s heart comes back into her life as her next assignment. I look forward to her adventure in Seattle as this case is personal to her and we will find out a lot more.
Good, short read about an interesting organisation. If infidelity isn’t your thing don’t be put off this book, read it in the way it is meant, for pure entertainment purposes, well worth the read!
