A student of New York college

This book helped me understand how to write compositions for a college. As an immigrant who came to America just 2 years ago, I still have a lot of questions about English Grammar, especially the way of writing. Therefore, I want to thank Kemper/Meyer/Sebraner for creating such a nice source of information.

A must for any jr. high student

I have been a jr. high teacher for the last 6 years and without a doubt the most comprehensive guide to writing, research, speaking, and techniques for success is Write Source 2000. This book is one in a series of books that has been adopted by the state of California. Many school have this series of books in their classrooms or librarys, but I highly recommend that each student have their own copy. They can begin to use in 5th or 6th grade and it can carry them through high school and college! There is a level above called Writer's Inc. which is geared for HS students, but may be a bit advanced for students younger than 5th grade. At the school I taught at we had WriteSource 2000 for 7th graders and Writers Inc. for 8th graders. Parents, this book could be one of the best investments you can make for your school age children.
