The Greatest Discovery is a gentle, heart-warming novel about love, heartache, and miracles. Written as a fictional work based on the author's life, it tells the story of a young married man, Chris, an expecting father who is unsure about his career choice and what his future holds. After befriending a wise and peculiar man named Lewis, Chris's way of thinking and outlook on life begins to change. Just as Chris feels that he is heading in the right direction, a tragic event makes him re-analyze his motives and question his abilities. With a new found responsibility upon his shoulders, some gentle insight from Lewis, and a life changing realization, Chris is able to finally put his life on a path that will bring him fulfillment and happiness.

Meet the Author

Chris is a husband, father, reader and writer who lives in Richmond, VA. A high school counselor by profession, his passion is stories. He also loves naps, ice cream, watching cartoons with his kids, and making a fool of himself in public (according to his wife).

He has two adult, inspirational novels in publication. "The Greatest Discovery" was a regional favorite and won Book-of-the-Year for the Virginia College Stores Association (2003). The prequel, "The Greatest Choice", followed in 2007.

His current project is a YA adventure/coming-of-age trilogy (working title "Jewel of Amarin").
