Greatest Hits 1990-1995

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Campbell
Greatest Hits 1990-1995 collects ten Sawyer Brown chart-toppers recorded for Capitol Records, and yes, it does include the slick country-pop band's biggest singles from those years: "Some Girls Do," "Dirt Road," and "Cafe on the Corner." Unfortunately, several key tracks recorded prior to 1990 are missing. So, if you're looking for "Step That Step," "Shakin'," "Betty's Being Bad," "Leona," or "This Missing You Heart of Mine," you won't find them here.

Great Listening For Sawyer Brown Fans, Or Anyone Who Likes 90's-era Country

Great collection of their early '90s hits. Unlike many "hits" compilations on the market for many artists, this disc is not stuffed with fillers; each song was a legitimate chart hit. Sawyer Brown often gets overlooked when this particular era is discussed, and that is unfortunate, as these songs will attest. "The Walk" and "Cafe On The Corner" are songs that many can relate to; "The Boys & Me" and "Trouble On The Line" are great danceable tunes. I highly recommend this collection to anyone who likes 1990's country music.
