    A leader amoung us.....

I love this album it is a great collection of all Tupacs strength and weakness. You hear him grow not only into a man but a professional. He will be truly missed. his was a leader that was taken out to soon. May he rest in peace........

    2pac is GOD!

If you listen to the lyrics real close like i do. You will also think this guy is the KEY piece to music. LOVED everyone of his songs. None were under a 10 out of 10!!! GO 2pac. And for the person that killed him must feel really sad now!

    The best cd

this is one of the best cds because it shows the poetic side of him and the mean side, plus he had great beats and he has a lyrical rap attack. If u love rap music, u will love this cd from start to finish. it also shows his caring for the world, and the struggle that he lived in and the struggle that he was living in.one of the best cds

    The Best Rapper Ever

2Pac was the greatest. This proves why. Songs like Brenda's Got a Baby, Life Goes On, and Keep Ya Head Up show the poetry of this man. Definitely recommended.

    i love it

i love this cd. It is so nice to hear tupac sing all the greatest songs; all of his songs are outstanding but this cd makes me feel his love for his music, family and life. it is the closest thing to him we have and i treasure it. He lived a thug life and this cd helps me to remember his wonderful talent and passion for his music and not focus just on his "gansta life" and the way he was killed. His music and undying passion for music and life lives on still today...

    COOOOOOOLLLLLLL

Greatest Hits is an excellent album, featuring all of 2pacs best songs. The only problem though, is that most of the songs are on 2pacs other cds, with only 4 new songs. If you've only got 1 or 2 2pac then this is a must buy. But if you already own all of 2pacs other albums, give this one a miss.

Is it worth the money? I dunno...

I don't recommend 2Pac fans to buy this album, simply because the songs in this album can be found in 2Pac's other releases. If you have the money to buy this CD, then buy some other 2Pac's album, such as 'All Eyez on Me' or 'Better Dayz.'

Why Tupac's Greatest Hits Is One Of The Greatest Compilations Ever!!!

This is a record that needs to be heard by all real people. Tupac Shakur wasn't just a rapper, he was much more than that. 2Pac was a revolutionary whos life was cut short before he could make an impact in society. By listening to both discs from beginning to end, you will see that Tupac was much more than the media portrayed him as. He was a beautiful person who wanted unity and peace in a world that is doomed for failure. The theme track for the Greatest Hits, CHANGES shows what kinda personality Pac had. I think all people should hear this and take his message to heart! The only track I feel that definatly should have been added to this compilation is "PAIN", no doubt that this is classic.

    I think this is tight

I think this collection of the famous hits that really bring out the best of him. It shows the soft side with his hard side. Plus it shows his struggle to get in the game. If you buy this cd then you will have somthing to rememeber 2 Pac by.

    2Pac lives!

2Pac has to be one of the very most influential figures in the history of not only rap, but black music as a whole - not to mention also one of the most controversial. Even when he was shot ''dead'' in September 1996, he was already due to be tried for at least three counts of attempted murder and was once jailed for nearly a year for the assist in a gang rape of a teenage fan. That's not to mention the infamous shooting of two police officers and huge disputes with fellow rap giants such as the Notorious B.I.G., Mobb Deep and Dr. Dre. While such things were riveting and constantly made for electrifying music which refused to hold back details, it often got in the way and made for criminal-obsessed and rather offputting music, like that found frequently in 1996's All Eyez On Me (released while the rapper was behind bars) and also in the egotistical 7 Day Theory, in which he called himself Makaveli. But on the Greatest Hits compilation, all his finest music is finally put together to make the dream 2Pac double album. Violent but bouncing explicit gangsta rap is found in tracks like 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted, Hit 'Em Up and the previously unheard Troublesome '96. Meanwhile, there is the sensitivity of 1995's Dear Mama and the classic storytelling rap ''Brenda's Got a Baby'' (1992) but even better there are two brand-new heart-wrenching ballad raps, the single Changes in which he eloquently and effortlessly spits, ''And still I see no changes/All I see is racist faces/Misplaced hate makes disgrace to racists...'' And on Unconditional Love, 2Pac refers to his Christian faith ''Ask Mama why God deserved to die/Witness the tears falling free from my eyes before she could reply...'' and his shining optimism ''Tomrrow comes after the dark'' in a smooth and peaceful manner. And of course there's the great original version of California Love with Dr. Dre, and the ''previously unreleased'' God Bless The Dead, a tribute to the Notorious BIG (who actually died after 2Pac) which to me is the biggest sign that 2Pac still lives, and still reigns as the king of gangsta rap.

    baby don't cry.

"Baby don't cry" certainly shows tupac's more sensitive side. his lyrics don't contain the best metaphors or use language as best as he could, like he did in his poems, but he shows us things as they are and always keeps it real. Baby don't cry reaches out to women who have problems telling them to realise their self-worth and recognises that some men don't treat women as they deserve2 b treated. Tupac delivers a message of hope and you've gotta respect the guy 4that.

    The truth about 2pac

Tupac is one of the greatest performers ever. Every cd or cassette that he has put out has been a hit. It don't matter if all his songs have made #1 or not, but Tupac will always be #1 for me and my family. Tupac will always be the greatest of all times.

Greatest Hits is the best one yet

2Pacs Greatest Hits is the best. It contains all of his best songs. I have not yet met a person that listens to rap music that doesn't have or like this CD. You can really get into all of his songs because he talks about things that he has experienced. I listen to this CD everyday. When I get into my car this is the first thing I put in my cd player. This is just the right CD to get you pumped up for a football or basketball game. Tupac's music will live on forever. Tupac is the Best!
