Greatest Hits on Earth

All Music Guide - Ron Wynn
Until Rhino issued its anthology, this was the best hits package for the 5th Dimension, a group that in its peak was among the best at doing lighthearted pop with a soulful foundation. Certainly, they weren't a hardcore R&B or earthy singing group, but they did put some punch into songs that were really kind of silly otherwise, like "Wedding Bell Blues."

    Everything I was looking for.

The 5th Dimension was one of my favorite groups. I heard one of their songs playing on an "Oldies" station and decided to try to find a CD that had their greatest hits. The CD I found was perfect. It was everything I was looking for. It has all of my old favorite songs by the group.

    Like Honey

I would consider this as one of the most listened to albums I have ever bought. Smooth, soulful, intellegent and tight, with Miss McCoos crisp, clear voice. I never tire of it, I would guess most groups would kill for an album this good, this enduring after 37 years.

    Terrific!

This is a collection of all the major hits the 5th Dimension had. Songs include ''Aquarius'', ''Up Up and Away'', ''Stoned Soul Picnic'' ''Last Night I Didn't Get to Sleep at All''. This is a very nice collection that will satisfy most fans and new listeners alike. The harmonies are heavenly and the music is very appealing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
