All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Morello's 2012 two-fer pairs Earl Thomas Conley's 1985 compilation Greatest Hits and the 1988 album The Heart of It All. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Greatest Hits was Conley's only chart-topper -- it did have all his big hits -- but The Heart of It All only reached 33. Nevertheless, it contained his last great run of number one singles -- "What I'd Say," "What She Is (Is a Woman in Love)," and "We Believe in Happy Endings," the latter two written by Bob McDill -- so having it paired with his early hits makes for a good compilation, showcasing Conley at something of his best.
