...all the new material is very fully and clearly explained . . . so much so that I had hopes that a motivated student would be able to continue on his own . . . there are a very large number of drills and practice sentences...-Peter L.D. Reid

This is a text of such wonderful clarity that it is a delight for both student and instructor.-Lydia Lenaghan

    Best Ancient Greek Book Around

This is a very comprehensive and easy to understand book. It works through the basic grammar then proceeds onto the more difficult concepts. The only problem is the physical size of the book...need a lap table to comfortably read while sitting on the couch!
