I really enjoyed this book and feel every Greek American should own a copy of this book. Not only was the history of the book captivating, but the best part was the recipes from the well known restaurants. This is a great book for a gift also!

The quality of this book must have been the result of a labor of love for the Greek culture and its people. The authentic Greek recipes are from the famous Greektown restaurants, and the photos depicting the rise of the Greek community in Chicago are the work of a true historian. This book is more than a coffee table book, or a recipe book, you actually find yourself memorized with every photo and read every caption. Highly Recommended for Greeks and Non-Greeks alike.
