This is an adorable book for children. I enjoyed it, and thought it was definitely a great piece about a grandmother and grandchild.
I didn’t think the opening about why the grandmother was in the nursing home works particularly well for children, but it does cover the
main points of why the child’s grandmother had to move into the assisted living home where all these stories take place. I think that is
my only flaw overall with the book.
The illustrations are beautiful, very well done. Especially those on the odd numbered pages. I would’ve loved to see more. Each story
could have two or more mixed into it, to appeal to the children more. This book has so many scenes that would make lovely illustrations.
I think that would bring a lot to the book and help it be something easier for children to read.
Overall, this is a lovely story about a grandchild and his visits with his grandmother that would a fun, sweet read for any child!
