Excellent book. Contains vegetable recipies, which are more nutritious and not in as many ebooks that do not clearly say this in the coover. Has approx. 70% vegitable recipies, 30% fruit recipies. Excellent table of contents, nutrition box information per each recipy with quantities used, including calories, etc., including minerals and vitamine info.. excellent index linked back to book. Many recipies that are 'green' may contain one ingrediant that is a vegetable, and the rest are fruites. The banana and orange and other selected fruites with water or milk, provide the sweetness that makes the green vegatable recipy inviting, that otherwise would make it harder toappeal. About one in eight recipies may have a beautiful picture or a singular vegetable or fruit associated, but not all recipies will have a pitcture, which personaly is an item I like seeing. I perchased another juice/smoothy book that implied it included vegatables, but sadly it did not. This is an excellently formatted, clearly, and efficiently written book, that I believe you will enjoy and use. Vegetables, based on 20,000 medical sientific studies show that the best nutrition for a body is via the phytochemicals found in vegetables, read Dr. Furhman's book, Eat To Live. Hope this was helpful. I hope To improve my health through this book.

Love this book. I can tell it is going to become a staple in my "cook"book collection. Great basic recipes with good nutritional information and lots of nuts, seeds, and protein-booster additions. So far everything I've tried tastes great. And each recipe gives me an idea for a new spin on it.
