I am a technical writer and editor, and I use a variety of reference manuals and style guides when I write. The Gregg Reference Manual is by far my favorite grammar and writing guide because of its organization and ease of use. I can put my hands on information quickly, which is good because I don't have a lot of spare time, and I'm not very patient. My complaint with this version is that I also purchased the online version, and I was unable to subscribe with the provided credentials. The online version is only for students and teachers, and those credentials are required to subscribe. I tried using the number provided with the manual, but I was unsuccessful. To be fair, I lost patience and only tried once, so maybe I did something wrong, but the process is not straightforward. I highly recommend the book, and I highly recommend the book only, not the online subscription. (The version of the book that I recommend is the spiral-bound paperback. It is easier to use than the hardback.) Happy writing!
