Best Book i have ever read. i cried and i laughed so i would love if suzanne will make a 6,7,and 8 book. it kind of left you hangin at the end with Gregor and Luxa so please Suzanne can you write another book.

The book is great!!! I just wish Collins would finish up the series with a 6th book. She leaves too many questions unanswered. Also there's probably another way to make an adventure with Luxa and Gregor actually hooking up at the end instead of being forever separated... Love the Books PLZ WRITE MORE!!! thnx

I really despise you for making it end like this. Honestly, if you could have told us that they were going to stay in NYC, I would have been completely fine. But no, you had to ruin everyone's imagination. Sigh....this series was quite unexpected and amazing. In all honesty, when I read the first book, I labeled the series as "boring". God, now I feel so stupid because I judged one of the greatest series ever too quickly. I hope, that Luxa and Gregor meet again when they're adults. (I'm 10000% sure on this occuring, as his mom has no control over him once he's 18. They will live happily ever after and Luxa will bear sons and/or daughters, and Gregor's descendents shall be known all throughout the Underland. Thanks for writing this series, Suzanne. It was, I can say, one hell of an awesome journey! Sincerely, your sad fan, Jacob.

Suzanne Collins has to make another book because she just left us hanging like do they move to virginia and gregor can never see luxa and his friends again and lizzie cant see ripred and boots cant see temp? I mean seriously? Does she wnt us to suffer by never knowing? Why would she make deep friendships and romance when it leaves us all devastated that they probably wont ever be together because of their dumb mom. But besides that, It was one of the best series i ever read with twists and turns with the prophecies. I read the entire series in one day. Thats how good this series was

I seriously believe this ranks nearly above Harry Potter. I've enjoyed this series for years and recently picked up this book and, as others, believe there should be a 6th book. Please, if Suzanne or anyone is reading. This, make a sixth book! This series ended with so many questions

Boo! Knowing this was a five-book series, I was ready for the conclusion, but I didn't expect it to be quite so open-ended. I sometimes wonder if authors do that because they think readers are intelligent enough to come up with their own interpretation or if they do it because they don't know how to end a series well. Yes, this book is quite exciting at times and has some nice intrigue, but this was supposed to be the one that ended it, and as corny as it may sound I wanted the happy ending. A movie like "Inception" can work with an open-ended conclusion, but this series should have had more at the end. And did it have to be quite so preachy with its anti-war message (granted this series does it more effectively than most others.) That being said Collins did a fantastic job creating complex characters that you really learn about, and in most cases genuinely like. Gregor. Boots. Luxa. Ripred. Ares. The Bane. Also, the love story between two major characters is one of the more genuine connections you will find in entertainment, and this is probably what I most wish had been resolved. As for another major character, I was angry with Collins when this one was killed towards the end of the novel. It was totally unexpected and totally unnecessary. A good book but not a fitting end for this outstanding series. Unless...and this is always a possibility as long as Collins is writing...a sixth book were created. One that will finally give us the answers and maybe a bit more of the ending we crave after reading such a great series. She's obviously got it in her to write very well, so I believe she's got it in her to provide us one more entry in the series. I figure they won't know if we don't tell them, so I've already sent an e-mail request tonight to Scholastic Press. It's worth a try.

Um hello she needs to wrire another book!

How can sz do this to us she makes something amazing and then makes it end like that. Its like she lights a fire that means something to everyone than douses it in water and kills all chances of happiness. Another negative comment is that there are so many deaths! How many people can you kill before you lose all your readers? On the good side it was well written and had some ok parts

Not my idealistic ending, but all good things must come to an end. I have to admit that it's been a blast watching Suzanne evolve from Gregor the Overlander to Mockingjay. Not bad; not bad at all.

This is considered the last book in this fantastic series. Book 1 is my favorite because when you crack open the book, you are consumed by the momentum and the imagination of the story. Once I finished the first, I immediate got online and reserved the rest in the series from my local library. I had to pace myself through each one because nothing else in my life was being completed! I am ashamed to admit it. The bubbling of energy from the first four books comes together in this last edition where more secrets are revealed and a great war is afoot. I am left sad by the ending...and just hoping that Suzanne Collins is going to pull the real last book out of her sleeve and surprise all of us. The way it stands is very...wanting...

I can't believe that Ares died! I cried at that part and when gregor woke up with ares claw in his hand. I almost cried when they said that ripred died, until i read about that he survived. I wished gregor and luxa stayed together:(
