    Great stories

All of the books are a great adventure. The ending leaves you wondering... The books are a must read, if not a little ignored it deserves a place right next to Harry Potter and The Hunger Games

    Couldn't put it down

I literally did not want to put these down! But eventually the necessities of life got in the way as well as my family ;). At first I was a little creeped out but the stories were so real as I was reading them, however I never did get over the big spiders!!

You will easily fall for the underland. I instintly fell in love with the giant rats and little baby boots. As gregor falls for the queen of the underlad humans and and soon becomes wildly involved in the crazy mutations of the underand. After all the whole future of the underland rest on gregor and his bond ares shoulders. But he could lose all his humanity. And the world he has come to love.
Susanne collins as done it again. I recomend to any one who love this the lightning thief and vice versa. Ages 9-15 of course this is not a definite age group.

    Good.

I liked The Hunger Games a lot more. I think it was written much better and had a more interesting story and a stronger theme/moral. The Overlander books seemed to only figure out what it's moral was during the last book. War is bad, pretty simple. The Hunger Games was much more thought provoking and complex. Maybe it's because I'm an adult reader that I just didnt like it as much? I'm not sure..I kept comparing it to The Chronicles of Narnia which is immeasurably better in just about every way. Another flaw was that I felt the author broke an unspoken rule by involving parents. I think this kind of fantasy should be a kids own world, where they can be a warrior and save the day without their parents around. All that said, its still a good book that I enjoyed. Interesting, developed characters that you really care about, cool twists, subtle foreshadowing that makes you want to speculate what's going to happen. All the basics you need for in a good story. Great for kids Gregors age. Only ok for an adult fan of fantasy.
