I teach High School English and noticed that several students were turning in practically the same essay. Though the writing styles remained their own, too many common phrases were showing up. I decided purchase this book after a bit of research on the internet, so that I would have proof of the plagiarism that occurred since there was no citation. I also bought Beowulf. Both SparkNotes would be helpful for readers who have trouble with the language or are not strong readers. I do not recommend they replace actually reading the material.
