Overview

This book describes the convergence of advanced networking technologies and Grid technologies, with special focus on their symbiotic relationship and the new opportunities that arise. It will enable network experts to design networks to best match Grid requirements, while Grid experts will learn how to make the best use of network resources. The book's material aims to cover breadth of information as well as depth of research material. It will feature both theoretical results and empirical work. The book has 3 distinct sections: 1 - an overview of grid technologies; 2 - a discussion of new directions in networking technologies for the Grid, and 3 - actual research and education testbeds. This book describes the convergence of advanced networking technologies and Grid technologies, with special focus on their symbiotic relationship and the new opportunities that arise. It will enable network experts to design networks to best match Grid requirements, while Grid experts will learn how to make the best use of network resources.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!

Do not purchase from this seller. They do not respond to emails. If there is a problem with the order, you will have to go through hoops to get the problem resolved or get your money back. I sent them four emails about this order and to date, I have not received one response from them. The book was returned and I have a delivery confirmation that they have received the book but they still have not responded. I have to be dealing with Barnes and Noble to get my money back. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!
