The heat is on…
Raised among women who taught him to cook at his family’s Buenos Aires restaurant, master chef Paolo Santos deftly works his culinary wiles—and his gypsy charm—on posh Flamingo Island’s female clientele.
The tastiest tidbit on the island, though, is cool, elegant Michaela Willoughby. The redhead’s slender curves are as enticing as her rabbit-food menus are maddening. And she’s his main competition for the chance of a lifetime.
Michaela overcame her own weight issues to become Flamingo Island’s premiere spa chef. Now she has a chance to share her innovative recipes for healthy living on a new cooking show—if she can somehow outshine Paolo. His sizzling, Latin-lover looks are more heart stopping than his decadent cooking. And she’d love nothing better than to stick a fork in his outsized ego.
When the stage lights ignite, so does the competition…and a sexual chemistry no one—least of all Paolo and Michaela—saw coming. Suddenly, separating business from pleasure is as impossible as separating a scrambled egg. And the big question isn’t whose knife cuts fastest…it’s whose heart can take the most heat.
Warning: Contains two hot chefs duking it out in a lively showdown of sexy rivalry. Mix in family drama, luscious recipes and spicy mischief, and there’s more than just steam rising out of the kitchen. May cause lusty cravings for midnight indulgences.
Being an amateur chef myself (ie. I dream it up and cook it and my family scarfs if down), I felt a connection with the characters and wanted to read this as soon as I read the synopsis. I’ve had the privilege of reading other books by Ms. Knightly and can say without a doubt that Grill Me Baby is everything I have come to expect from her. With an entertaining plot line and charming characters that keep you coming back for more, this is the perfect book to pick up for any occasion. I have long since been a fan of Ms. Knightly and she never disappoints.

Lighthearted, fun and sexy! I read it over the weekend and laughed out loud in some of the cooking scenes. I was rooting for BOTH characters to win.

Foodies and romantics will love Grill Me, Baby! The two chefs, Paulo and Michaela, are determined to win the Miami Spice competition and each has good reason to. The book was very entertaining and so much fun to see how far they would go to win.

Throw in a little harmless flirting, a little healthy competition and you have the makings of lovely budding romance. Grill Me Baby is a fun read with a spark of humor that satisfies the romance blahs!

Grill Me, Baby is a fantastic book, with a love story that had me captivated from page one. I love Sophia Knightly books and this was no exception. Also who can resisted a romance that involves any kinda food, they are always a favorite for me.

This is a wonderful book, I was lucky and won a free copy of the book before it was released, I enjoyed all of the characters and their personalities were awesome and so much fun. I really could not put the book down, because I could not wait to find out what was going to happen next. I hope that Sophia Knightly writes a part two with the same characters but with a spin off with Michaela's sister!!! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance and a chuckle!!!

FANTASTIC!!
This book was FANTASTIC!! I didn't want it to end!
Michaela Willoughby and Paolo Santos two professional cooks fighting to be the host of a new cooking show. Michaela is a feisty redhead that like to cook health food that people love while Paolo is the super sexy Argentinian who like things hot (Pun intended!) with his cooking it's spicy and delicious.
I love how the two characters just feed off each others energy and they are sooo funny with their smart remarks! This book had me laughing and full of anticipation for what was coming next. So wish there was another book to this I loved this one sooo much!! But I also love Sophia's others books too! Like "Wild for You" super awesome book!!

LOVED this book! It was so much fun to watch Paolo and Michaela fight and fall in love. They're both smart and passionate about food...and each other! Don't read this book when you're hungry or you'll want to gobble up every single dish they make!
