Meet the Author

Stephen lives in England with his wife and after spending more years than he cares to mention living in the 'real' world has found that he can have more fun climbing into his imagination and (darkest) thoughts and putting a pen to a nice piece of paper.

He considers himself to be a writer of stories (but does not claim to be good).

He has published the first in a series of whodunits (WHO KILLED BOB?), the first in The Cycle Of Gareth (GRIM REAPING) and a dark horror in The Duttleton Saga (THE DROWNING OF THE INNOCENTS).

His new story is a seasonal mystery, A COLD WIND BLOWS.

He is working on follow-ups to the above and also a new psychological horror series.

On top of this, Stephen has written a number of short/flash fiction stories that have now been compiled into a single volume (TWELVE CUTS FROM THE NIB) with an additional previously unreleased story.

He is also working on his first fantasy novel.

He has decided that he enjoys writing so much that he will continue to do so until he stops.

Which might mean he has died.

Until that time, he hopes that you get as much enjoyment from reading his stories as he does in writing them.

    Awful

Awful. Firstly, it was only 20 pgs, i wish bn would tell the length of these stories. 20 pages isnt a book, it isnt even a short story, secondly, i think the author wore out his thesaurus from all the unnecessary longwinded words he used. It took away from what he was trying to say and made the so called tale seem overblown. Got to page 7 and gave up from the overblown pomposity.

Entertaining story which kept me reading until the end. Not sure

Entertaining story which kept me reading until the end. Not sure where it was heading but a very intelligent twist at the end which drawd it together beautifully.
