Judy H. Tucker of Jackson, Mississippi, and Charline R. McCord of Clinton, Mississippi, have coedited numerous books, including Christmas Memories from Mississippi, Christmas Stories from Mississippi, and the forthcoming Coming Home to Mississippi, all available from the University Press of Mississippi.

Charline R. McCord of Clinton, Mississippi, and Judy H. Tucker of Jackson, Mississippi, have coedited numerous books, including Christmas Memories from Mississippi, Christmas Stories from Mississippi, and the forthcoming Coming Home to Mississippi, all available from the University Press of Mississippi.

The author of six novels and three collections of stories, Richard Ford was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award for Independence Day, the first book to win both prizes. In 2001 he received the PEN/Malamud Award for excellence in short fiction.
