SpiritRane: I liked the story until it abruptly ended at page 45. I feel like I wasted 20 mins just to be disappointed. I wish there was some back story or back bone to it for that matter.

It gripped me from the start and didn't let go. I'm always impressed at the detail and backstory that some writers can put into a short story.
