I am publishing a book as we speak, and the marketing side had never occurred to me until it was almost too late. Big mistake! I will definitely use this book in the future. In fact, I have discovered a few more titles that have helped me out a great deal.

I have written 24 books which have been translated into thirty-sevn languages. Over a million and a half copies have been printed. Yet, I was amazed at how much more successful I could have been if Guerrilla Marketing for Writers had appeared earlier.

Guerrilla Marketing for Writers provides not only a realistic description of the lack of promotion characteristic of most publishers, it shows in great detail specific steps authors can and have to do to promote their titles. Guerrilla Marketing for Writers describes over one hundred specific, affordable and practical ways authors can promote their own book before and after publication.

Authors can and have to shoulder the burden of their book's promotion. Levinson and his co-authors empower authors to do what has to be done for a book to be reviewed and promoted. Doing just one or two of the ideas in this book can make a major difference in the success of your book.

Why write a book and leave its fate in the hands of someone else? If you care enough about your work to put your words in writing, you owe it to yourself to promote your book using the ideas described in Guerrilla Marketing for Writers.

I am so happy to have a book that is easy to read and teaches you something. The resource list is worth the price of the book. The publicity dept at my publisher did nothing. Now I can do it myself! Every publicty dept should give this book out!
