Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
This guide to graduate schools in the United States has been around since the Sixties (the first edition was published in the distant 1967). Last updated in 1997, it has now been substantially revised to address the constant evolution of American academia, featuring profiles of over 1200 institutions, including libraries and other facilities. Very accessible and logically organized, this is an essential research tool for anyone contemplating grad school. And although school directories are usually cheaply produced paperbacks (this one is no exception), they always seem to be in demand. It's hard to judge whether this one is "the most comprehensive," as proclaimed on its cover, but it's certainly as inclusive as any other. Recommended for all libraries, especially those that have been faithfully updating the previous editions.--Mirela Roncevic Copyright 2004 Reed Business Information.
