It’s not impossible to find that even diseases have their own folklore. A celiac disease urban legend revolves around tea bags containing gluten which can trigger the disease.
For those who do not know, celiac disease is a condition where the small intestines get inflamed due to the consumption of food containing gluten. Gluten is a protein commonly found in food made from wheat, barley, and rye.
So such foods like bread, pizza, and pasta can contain gluten. The condition can be really bad in the long run. I don't even care that it was only 2.99. This is a complete waste of money. 14 pages filled with misinformation and babble. There should be a warning from Barnes and Noble for crap like this. Don't buy this book - especially if you actually need to know about celiac disease. I've read better information in free online forums.
Badly written and repetitive. Too general to be helpful. Long aside on teabags. Bad grammar. Same paragraphs appear more than once. Would not give any star if not required for submittal of review. Obviously not written by a medical expert. Do not waste your time and money on this. There is little if any hard factual info for celiacs contained in the very short writeup.
