Michelle Dunn Has Written Another Winner

Review by Mary Greenwood, Author of How to Interview Like A Pro: Forty-Three Rules for Getting Your Next Job: How to Mediate Like a Pro: 42 Rules for Mediating Disputes; and How to Negotiate Like a Pro: 41 Rules for Resolving Disputes. Michelle Dunn is an expert in her field and has won many book awards and honors and it shows. Her new book, The Guide to Getting Paid, is a must-read book in the credit field. She draws on her expertise in the field as well as her own credit issues while going through a divorce. What I like most about this book is how thorough she is. She has lots of lists, explains the common mistakes, gives definitions of terms, and anticipates most questions. She walks the reader through the process in down-to-earth language in a format that is very readable. She has done her research and has lots of interesting quotes. One that surprised me was that "Americans spend 70% of gross income repaying debt." This book really is the soup to nuts of credit management. She explains how to manage credit the traditional way as well as how to use email and social media in the 21st Century. I predict that this book will be the "go to" book for any question concerning credit management. Congratulations on a great book. You have written another winner!

    An indispensable debt collection resource.

After reading this Guide to Getting Paid, clearly Michelle Dunn has "Out-Dunn" the rest of the pack. The book is a down to earth and yet insightful road map for anyone, at any level of collection experience, to improve and refine their collection skills. Even with 20 years of collection experience under my belt, I found many parts to be new and exciting. This is one of those books that has a place on everyone's desk!
