Overview

When twenty-one year old Vancouver bookkeeper Laurel Phelan was suddenly beseiged by detailed, violent nightmares of Dark Age Britain, she was frightened enough to seek help. With the help of past life regression, Laurel arrived at a shocking discovery: she had been Guinevere in a past life - A Guinevere so different than the legendary frail queen of Camelot. Laurel travelled back in time to make peace with the woman she once was. As her life flows into Guinevere's we discover the true woman - a ravishing fierce warrior, beautiful, charismatic and dedicated to protecting her people from invaders. Guinevere didn't need to emulate men to be powerful. The true path to potency, creativity and love is to draw on the secret depths of our feminine selves. Guinevere's profound insights resonate dramatically in the lives of women today.

I loved this book.  So unique and insightful.  Miss Phelan takes us into a powerful realm of warriors, battles and dark age Britain without the frilly legend. It's gritty realism is exceptional and she had me gripped with emotion and cheering for our heroine from page one.  The past life reference made it a fuller, more complete and modern story.

    best book ever written

This book touched me in no other way could a book ever touch me again. It brought out more in me than I thought would ever be there. It made me appreciate what I have.. And I wish I could have been Guinevers best friend. I feel as though I know her... I love her and I think that I am connected to her somehow.. because everytime I finish the book I feel as though I have to read it again and again.. as though I need to hold on to something.. As though I am afraid of something in me which is the same. I wish for Laurel Phelan to help me as she does others...

Fascinating and a complete surprise. As a scholar of Arthurian myths and legends, I was at first taken aback by the concept of a 'real' Guinevere, but I consider myself open minded and delved - with guarded mind, into this book.  I immediately found the author to be disarmingly honest in sharing her traumatic experiences. I was overjoyed with her accurate depiction of the era, which legends have always misplaced. Her revelation that Guinevere was a warrior and not a home wrecker, filled me with delight. Finally, a Guinevere of power and brains. An exciting, moving read with a love story to end all love stories. I highly recommend putting aside the debate of reincarnation and become, instead, lost in a truly engaging book.

I found this Book Fascinating! Impossible to put down.
Ms. Phelan  weaves a story that keeps one on the edge of their seat and makes one eager to revisit again and again.
The utter femininity and  strength of Guinevere is absolutely Breathtaking.
It makes one want to have a past life regression done to see what might have been. I have literally read this book over and over
just to see what I might have missed. I am an avid follower of Ms. Phelan's Radio and Television broadcasts whenever possible as well. She is a true gem.

Wonderful book. Well written and a real joy that touched me deep

Wonderful book. Well written and a real joy that touched me deeply. The author takes us into an historical realm few have accurately depicted. It is completely new and realistic. Guinevere's strength and willpower resonated with me and I will pass this on to friends. The love story is unique and heartwarming.
