Too much Aficionado, not enough guitar

Reviews of expensive watches? Cuff links? Fine wine? Guitarists usually don't spend money on such things. They spend money on guitars. This rag comes off as really douchey. Dear rich guys, go back to exploiting your workers and stop outbidding me on guitars on ebay.

    Not enough about guitars

As a semi-pro musician, I really want to see more articles actually talking about what the magazine is ostensibly concerned with. There has to be a balance between magazines for the newbies (ie., Guitar World) and this magazine which is basically GQ with a guitar on the cover. Guitar Player used to cover that ground, but it is now written for 16 year olds that got a Squeir value pack for Christmas. Will anyone take up the mantle snd publish a DECENT guitar magazine for those of us who actually interested in the instrument?

Not Enough Substance To Justify Expense

Lightweight glossy picture fluff - too little of serious value for serious players.
