    I Also Recommend:

Guitar Scale Guru is an excellent reference book for learning guitar scales and music theory.

The illustrations are excellent showing where notes and scales populate the fretboard of the guitar, though sometimes it seems a bit cramped with all the information put on one page. This is a great reference manual for learning scales and music keys. There seems to be a scale for each key and each key is illustrated over several positions on the fretboard.

Nice explanations of scale shapes. Good explanation of the CAGED system for finding chords up the fretboard, including not only major and minor scales but blues scales, major and minor pentatonic scales as well.

There are many cross references from the fretboard to notes on a piano. Absolutely packed with information that will be of value for years to come. A great value for a reference book.
