The masterwork from writer-satirist Jonathan Swift, Gulliver’s Travels tells the story of wandering adventurer Lemuel Gulliver and the fantastical countries he visits on his journey around the globe. From Lilliput (a town with a six-inch tall population) to Brobdingnag (full of giants) and from the flying land of Laputa to Houyhnhnm, the country run by super-intelligent horses, Swift pokes fun at the universal flaws of human society. A mixture of scathing social criticism and wild imagination, Gulliver’s Travels has remained a tremendously popular book for nearly three centuries.

FYI, this free Google download is only Volume 2 of 2. Even though it looks like you will be getting the full book, this ebook is only the second half.

Too many scanning and OCR errors to read -- avoid the frustration

This version was not scanned well and put nicely into a digital format. Try looking for another version of this tale.

I couldnt tell where the table of contents ended and the actual book began. Perhaps it only looks like this on my original nook?

Can't change font size on iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4. Disappointed. Will have to read on laptop.

Part I and II were quick reads filled with great fantasy which most of us see as THE Gulliver's Travels. Part III was a little boring and hard to get through and Part IV was a perfect combination of fantasy and Swift using great symbolism to strongly express his views.

Guliver's Travels is an exiting book as John Swift brings you in to the lives of: little peole, giants, and brings you into worlds of imortality, a floating island, a world were horses have peple as pets, and much more.

This book is simply the worst of all copies. First of all it makes no sense. Second most of it is like being washed in mud for 9 hrs then with no towel outside when its snowing. I really sugest that you DO NOT buy or read this book

This book was really engaging and it made me think. It is really interesting to imagine what life would be like if we were six inches or sixty feet tall.
