    Not a beginners book

Although I have used rifles and shotguns for much of my life, the terminology of the AR-15 rifle and its parts required much use of the internet to fleshout the explanations. There was no exploded AR-15 diagram and labeling of parts in the book. None of the photos in the book were labeled only captioned. Once I learned terminology from other sources, I was able to enjoy the information presented by the author.

Everything you need to know and operate a Colt style M16

Great book, it had everything I wanted to know about my new rifle, including reviews of different brands. Cleaning procedure, safety of use, and reviews of accessories.

    Volume two is even better.
