    Needs more depth.

This book does a good job of introducing a reader to the AR15 platform if they are a novice. For more advanced shooters, this book lacks depth in most areas. All parts of the AR15 are covered, but only in a very introductory basis. Most of the book is geared toward building a collapsible stock, short barreled carbine. I bought this book as a reference as I was building a heavy barrel flat top with a scope mounted, and this book didn't touch on these areas. If you like carbines with all kinds of attachments hanging off of them, you will like this book.
