Historically interesting. Some plot flaws. Editing problems. Worth reading.

    Interesting, but ...

Good story but suffers terribly from poor formatting by the publisher.

    Decent story and mediocre writing

This story is based around a naval battle between Swedish and Russian forces fought in 1808. The fictional events take place in the months before and after that battle but the story isn't about the battle. The style of the writing makes it clear that English is not the native language of the author. Or it could be a mediocre translation of a Swedish language story. Either way, it reads a bit oddly... I don't know whether the story itself was intended to be of a specific genre but it seems to be a mixture of military history, adventure, spy and soap opera of the who's sleeping with whom type. Overall a pleasant read but not something that leaves you wanting more.

    Enjoyable story

Not the best of writing but I enjoyed the story. Deals with the war between Finland/Sweden and Russia in 1808
