This book is an easy and entertaining read. Most of the leaders

This book is an easy and entertaining read. Most of the leadership advice that Ermey gives is common sense for any Marine NCO or SNCO worth their salt, but still worth a refresher. This appeal of this book is not limited to those in the MIilitary, I believe that most civilians would benefit from Ermey's advice on leadership and his perspective on the woes facing our great nation. Ermey weaves interesting anecdotes from his time in the Corps, the movie industry, and miscellaneous experiences that keeps the reader interested and amused.

I especially enjoyed the quotes the author chose that amplified the chapter topics. His rants were amusing because they were spot on. I Ermey seems like a genuine guy that sincerely cares about America and it's warriors.

A great book that will have you shaking your head in agreement with the Gunny.
