Overview

After Paul's family moves to a new town, he is assigned the school locker of the boy who made the town famous--by shooting seven people in the school library. A red-headed girl named Terri gives Paul a job on the school newspaper, and he starts to find that there are unanswered questions about the shooting. When he starts asking those questions, however, people tell him it's not a good idea. Terri herself seems to know things about the shooting that she's not telling. The captain of the school football team, North, offers Paul the chance to go out with horny cheerleaders--as long as Paul is part of the in crowd. Nevertheless, Paul persists and finds strange markings on the inside of his locker. Learning that the shooter's grandmother had been blind, Paul figures out that the marks are Braille. They lead him to the place where Cale, the shooter, left a USB drive that contains his diary. That answers some, but not all of the questions, and Paul persists in his quest, not knowing whether he will be the next victim. A strong story about a topic that is discussed in every school in the country--even though no publisher will touch it because they think reading about it will lead to doing it. Find out for yourself.

    A good read.

This book has a unique POV and the author has captured the voice of the protagonist.
