Rally Vincent is in a funk! The Chicago PD has revoked her bounty hunter license, she's not allowed to even carry a gun, and her doctor says she should quit the biz, 'cause girls shouldn't do such nasty work anyway! When even her friends are unsympathetic, she decides to track down the source of her present problems: Bean Bandit — the drug runner and getaway driver extraordinaire who snatched Goldie the hitwoman out from under Rally's nose. But Bean doesn't have the reputation for being the best for nothing. Rally's got her work cut out for her — and her life on the line! — if she's going to try to capture Rolling Bean!

Kenichi Sonoda is a master of the Japanese literary style called "manga" that combines graphic illustration with storytelling. Gunsmith Cats are two big gun, fast car, bomb totting young women, who (aided and abetted by a coterie of friends) take on bounty hunting cases and general strive to thwart the bad guys. In Gunsmith Cats: Bean Bandit we are treated to a story arc featuring a driver-for-hirer by the name of Bean who engages to transport drugs across the country. The problem is Rally (with an ability to shoot that would rival Annie Oakley) hates drugs, likes Bean, and is determined to stop him by winning a cross-country car race against him. There are a lively assortment of villains, fast action sequences, and plot-twists that keep the reader riveted to every page from first to last. Gunsmith Cats: Bean Bandit is a superlative graphic novel that will leave the readers looking eagerly towards the next Gunsmith Cats adventure!
