Overview

If you've checked out my Diners, Drive-ins and Dives books or visited my restaurants, Johnny Garlic's and Tex Wasabi's, you know I'm down with all types of good food—and that I'll do what's required to track it down. In Guy Fieri Food, I'm cookin' it my way, from the perfect recipe for Pepper Jack Pretzels (from Mr. Awesome Pretzel himself—that's me) to how to pull together a Red Rocker Margarita Chicken sandwich to a full-on vegetable Guy'd (bet you didn't see that one comin'!). Before I'm finished I'll have you throwing parties with everything from Bacon-Jalapeno Duck appe-tapas to Chicago Beef Pizza to Johnny Garlic's Cedar Plank Salmon.

Fact is, I've been cookin' it, livin' it, and lovin' it since I was just a kid, and it's a privilege to help you bring home some of my own classic, big, and bold flavors.

Not the book-it was great! What was disappointing was purchasing the cookbook nor knowing that the Nook version was shorter than the hard copy. Not all the recipes are there. Shame!

My husband and I just bought this awesome book over the weekend and already made a couple recipes. We found them very easy to make with ease and easily purchased items. Great book to have in your kitchen for everyday and entertaining. Not only do we enjoy Guy's show but the new book is awesome. Great pictures and drawing are also "cool" to look at! Highly recommended. Thanks, Guy 5 *****'s

Bought this book on a whim and had a party this weekend . Great "out of the box" recipes simple enough for an old woman like me. Simply delicious and fun, I have a whole new image. Thanks, Guy.

I was horribly disappointed to find that the ONLY device I can open this on is my Nook. Not my iPad, not my computer...only the Nook. I use my iPad for everything, and to not be able to access my recipes on it really burns me up. The enhanced edition doesn't seem to add any useful value, and I was also disappointed to see that the Nook version is quite a bit shorter than the print version. A fair amount of the book is commentary - letters from his family & friends, pictures reminiscing about the good old days, so there aren't nearly as many recipes as I would have expected in an almost 400-page cookbook. That being said, many of the recipes are intriguing, and I can't wait to start trying them out. There are a lot of ingredients that I will have to hunt for - I haven't found a single recipe that uses ingredients I already have at home. I am not disappointed I bought it, but I don't think I will use it as much as I had hoped.

i have this book and living ina smal town away from any large city markets i found some of the items not inmy local stores and thats was a disapoinment in itself. i love Guy very much love guys bog bite on tv but all the spices and differant meats that i cant find in my area kind of place the book on the shelve to look at not to use. so its good if u live in a area that has alot to offer but not if u live in the sticks and have no way of gettign alot of the itmes needed to cook his food!

I purchased this for my Dad for the holidays -- he's a big Guy Fieri fan and he loved it. I actually read it before gifting it; a big book; a lot of photos too. It is a great read as well as recipes. A lot of interesting information about Guy and his story. He also gives great information on the recipes provided and what really makes them work. Lots of flavor in his recipes that really make them sing. Great book and also a great gift for the men in your life.

I actually bought the cookbook, and yes, it downloaded as Savvy Auntie. I called customer service and they gave me a credit. I hope they fix the problem, because I would like to re purchase Guy's cookbook again.

I would love to write a review for a book by Guy Fieri, but the sample I downloaded turned out to be 'Savvy Auntie'. I almost bought it without even trying the sample. Very glad I didn't as there are no refunds on ebooks (so I've been told).
