    The Greatest ABC Book Ever

All ABC books will teach your child the alphabet, but this one by Gyo Fujikawa will also entertain them and teach them words and concepts. For example A=argument and then A=agreement with appropriate drawings; of course A=apple as well. The attention to detail in the pictures makes it certain that big brother or sister will also continue to use it. The pictures are of multicultural children, and the artwork is beautiful! I have given this book at many baby showers, and I am glad to see it back in print.

    Wonderful ABC book

My mother gave me this book for my son when he was less than a year old. He LOVES it. We look at it all of the time. He first loved to hear about the many animals, then he became interested in other pictures. By 18 mos. old he wanted to know all about the letters. Now he is only 20 months old and knows every letter of the alphabet and can say much of it in order. He can spell his name and several other short words too. This is a beautiful book!

    Attractive but not captivating

An interesting approach to the subject but deos not hold the child's fantasy too long. I was surprised both my kids did not show their yearn to have a second look at the book and first time they did not show their pride in posessing the book.
