An excerpt:

"The beginner at the piano not only moves his finger up and down in order to depress the key, he moves the whole hand, the forearm and even the entire body, especially moving its least rigid part, the head, as if he would press down the key with that organ too. Often a contraction of the abdominal muscles occurs as well. Principally, however, the impulse is determined to the motion of the hand and of the single finger. This is, in the first place, because the movement of the finger is the movement thought of, and, in the second place, because its movement and that of the key are the movements we try to perceive, along with the results of the latter on the ear. The more often the process is repeated, the more easily the movement follows, on account of the increase in permeability of the nerves engaged.
"But the more easily the movement occurs, the slighter is the stimulus required to set it up; and the slighter the stimulus is, the more its effect is confined to the fingers alone.

"Thus, an impulse which originally spread its effects over the whole body, or at least over many of its movable parts, is gradually determined to a single definite organ, in which it effects the contraction of a few limited muscles. In this change the thoughts and perceptions which start the impulse acquire more and more intimate causal relations with a particular group of motor nerves.

"To recur to a simile, at least partially apt, imagine the nervous system to represent a drainage-system, inclining, on the whole, toward certain muscles, but with the escape thither somewhat clogged. Then streams of water will, on the whole, tend most to fill the drains that go toward these muscles and to wash out the escape. In case of a sudden 'flushing,' however, the whole system of channels will fill itself, and the water overflow everywhere before it escapes. But a moderate quantity of water invading the system will flow through the proper escape alone.
"Just so with the piano-player. As soon as his impulse, which has gradually learned to confine itself to single muscles, grows extreme, it overflows into larger muscular regions. He usually plays with his fingers, his body being at rest. But no sooner does he get excited than his whole body becomes 'animated,' and he moves his head and trunk, in particular, as if these also were organs with which he meant to belabor the keys."

    Mouse

Hi guys, if I'm not supposed to be here I'm sorry. But if you do your organization, I'd like Mouse to join. She's already a rouge and I think that would be cool. Lilywolf, is Rose your sister? ( i read your bio but I cant remember all the names lol) I will rper if you want, if not I understand, I'm just looking for some excitment besides Mouse who just sat around the now dead Rouge group.

    Striking

First off, you could always talk to me in my den. I need to refind it actually...wont be too hard. And about that list, it's quite confuzzling...lots of random numbers and letters...we could always make it so we rp the same name until they die then and move on to new names after that. [Ex. Agents 66-68 have names Gore, Far, and Hot. Two die of justice. They fade off as thet die until 1/2-3/4ish have "died" then everyone comes back, with new names. Let me know if you need help on this point.] I can't kill off all my agents by doing this is why. Also, I still can't have everyone in this at one place. Secrecy, that is big in this organisation. So, five camps. (1) Proxies only (2) half the proxies, half the agents (3) other halfs of each (4) first half of agents (5) second half of agents. Agents are the lowest if you havent notised so they cant know all the other agents. Now, moving on. Idk what a double account is. I will rp Rose though and my sis (with maybe 1-2 exceptions) can rp Amourpaw. If you had a camp that had two res, this would be easier. Also, I'll start when I know everything I need to know.

    Lilywolf

I understand all of that Striking. They should have to be born back as kits though and trained up in the ways of the organization. And what about the thing I talked about with Lily's past with the group? Is that okay? And at this gathering I will round up the leaders and we can vote. I think we will at least try it but I don't want to regret it Striking. Your members would have to gather and agree to my terms. Otherwise there could be chaos. So you really want to rp Rose, Striking? You'll keep her active right? Just wondering cause it wouldn't be fair to Mouse if you rped her but not often. But as long as your active you could. Mouse yes she is and I would let you if Striking wasn't avaliable. ~ Lilywolf &hearts

    Striking

One. Yeah, i like that idea. I thought I'd mentioned that but guess not. Two. I'm not rounding up everyone. I will however tell them seperately. Three. Im active when (1) im not grounded (2) not doing hw (3) my wifi works correctly and (4) not being impostered at my Clan or a couple others I'm at daily [AshClan, LightClan]. So yeah, I'd keep her active.

    ~$triking ェ, ~オ Dansk ~ Read FIRST

Hm, well, you see, I started an organisation (key word: organisation. I have my own functional clan already ^_^) and I have a plot I would like to include you in, the Pact Clans in general at least. It wouldn't affect you guys too much, especially to start seeing as you guys are having some difficulties. [If you wanna know more about the organisation, or my Clan, ask. My Clan is eight rl months old...damn, didn't realyze it was that old :o]. Anyway, they would be no large scale raids [NOT a Clan afterall...] and you would never see the same attacker twice [I found a way around that *-*]. There would also be no faces what so ever, because I hate trying to remembre that.

So here's what I'm asking. To be allowed to rp with you guys to create ripples and distrust in specific Clans for at most two days at any two week period of time, killing a maximum of one warrior, apprentise, or kit [we won't target queens ever so new kits can always be born (and as a side note from that, we would only be allowed to kill one kit from any litter until they are warriors) and I've yet to see elders much anyway]. Also, I'm asking to find one person within each Clan willing to be a spy, or rp a spy within the Clan [for HorseClan, I'm kinda hoping Amourpaw and you'll see why]. And I think that's it...so, peace out s<_>uckers (mdr, my new way of saying I'm done. Also, Dansk is the alias of Striking that is leader of the BF. And to tell me and my sis apart is our rp style. Like I talk in French more often and she sometimes. I also say 'duck' instead of 'f<_>uck' because I can).
