Overview

“Welcome to Hell.”

Persephone Fields is just an average girl: beloved daughter and loyal friend. One night decides her Fate, when the prince of The Underworld becomes her savior and her kidnapper.

Hades has lived centuries in darkness and sin. When he decides to save the blonde goddess, he doesn’t consider the ramifications of his decision to bring her into his realm.

Two worlds divided struggle to find friendship in a history of family discord beyond their control. When attraction blurs the line, questions result in choices of love or loyalty.

A modern twist of the classic myth: Hades and Persephone, this version incorporates the sensual tension of opposites divided by contemporary humanity and mythical underworlds. Also reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, this is a love story ripe with desire.

Lover of all things fantastical, elda lore is the imaginative side of L.B. Dunbar, contemporary author of romance. Accused of an overactive imagination, that trait has served her well to devise modern tellings of classical myths, adding her own twists of romance.

A unique twist on Greek mythology, this is the story of Hades and Persephone After watching from afar Hades becomes the hero one night when he saves her from an attack that was surely to be the end of her. He loves her life and vitality but can only spend eternity with her if she dies. Will he choose to take her life to be with her forever or choose to give her up. She loves him despite knowing he will be the death of her. Can she give up her friends, family and future to live in eternal darkness? A great love story for those who love Greek mythology and those who don’t know anything about it. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

A modern explantion of am ancient mythological tale. This is an interesting, much more seductive interpretation of Hades, jr. and Persephone (same name, different character than the original), the original Hades and Persephone's son. First, what is up with that ending?!? I hope that Ms. Lore has more for us than just the next book in this series. She needs to feed this new hunger of mine!

One night, while swimming with her best friends, Persephone Fields feels someone watching her. She looks around and sees a hooded man. She feels an immediate connection with him but she has to leave. But fate makes her go back to the river and she is attacked. When she believes she's going to die, the hooded stranger saves her and takes her with him. But soon, Persephone realizes that maybe she isn't save in the arms of her savior. He is Hades, the son of Hades and Persephone. Now, Persephone and Hades have to deal with the consequences of her being in Hell, especially because she is still alive. Hades: Modern Descendants is a modern take on the mythological story about Persephone and Hades. It's a very interesting and captivating story, very well written. The characters are great and I couldn't help but connect with them, especially Hades. He has a very serious decision to make. I can't wait to read the next book about the Modern Descendants!
