Lumin synthesize the respectively endless realms of electronica and world music -- in particular, Middle Eastern music -- on Hadra, the follow-up to Datura, the group's debut album. Hadra primarily features the complementary talents of group members Jeffery Stott, Michael Emenau, and Irina Mikhailova. Stott and Emenau program most of the music on this album, utilizing percussion and samples as well as other digital sounds, while Mikhailova supplies the elegant vocals, bringing an ethereal sense of humanity to the music.
