Hag's Nook is the first Gideon Fell mystery and one of Carr's best. Past and present meet in the first locked room mystery. Nothing impossible, everything logical, or is it? A great book for mystery lovers, and a good book for clubs. Writing is clear and concise (plain style) and the detective is one of a kind.
