Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
A pair of board books illuminate two of the best-known prayers from the Christian and Roman Catholic traditions via joyful and welcoming mixed-media illustrations and some encouraging annotations: Our Father and Hail Mary by Sabrina Bus, illus. by Xavier Deneux. Exemplary of the format, the words "Our Father" are presented in bold, paired with (in smaller type) such hopeful lines as "God, we can talk to you like a father./ You think that everything we tell you is important." Purchased for my godson and my daughter

I picked up this book originally for my godson and was so impressed, I bought another copy for my daughter. It explains the Hail Mary in a way that children and adults can understand. I really liked how it explained our relationship to Mary & how we can talk to her. This is an excellent gift for Christmas, Easter, Baptism, First Communion, etc.
