About the Author

Shri Shastriji Vishnu Datt Misra followed Babaji like a shadow, accompanying Him as chief priest. Prolific writer, Sanskrit scholar, he was one of Shri Mahendra Maharaj Baba's closest disciples. He wrote in mantric verses about Hairakhan Baba many years before His physical appearance on 1970. Shastriji was the mouthpiece of Him. When Babaji was present, through his words, Shastriji served as the mouthpiece of his beloved Babaji, imparting the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma to the multitude of seekers who flocked to their presence.

Janki Rani Lisetta Carmi was a renowned photographer and piano player. She was one of the first Western disciples of Babaji. She was able to take iconic pictures of Babaji in the early times of his public teachings. Janki Rani founded the first ashram, or spiritual community, in Europe dedicated to Babaji, the beautiful Bhole Baba Ashram in Cisternino, Apulia, Italy, where thousands of spiritual researchers from all over the world and of any tradition came to practise the principles of Truth, Simplicity and Love praised by Babaji.
