A wild ride in the late 1960's through Hollywood, Laurel Canyon, Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Malibu then on the road to Houston and back. Live music stops with Bob Dylan, the Mamas and the Papas, Joe Cocker, The Byrds and The Stones. If you remember Woodstock and DID inhale you will like this book. Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll and Whiskey. It's a love story. The 60's were tough but somebody had to do it. The times were changing and the party never stopped. Join Cowboy, Magic Cal, Groovy Grider, Tim and Chicago and feel the force of the Peace and Love movement.

If you weren't drawn by the lure of Los Angeles in the 1960's, and if you weren't an actor, a writer, a comic, an artist, a musician, or someone who was just hanging out in L.A. in the sixties, you missed it. Bo Johnson's book HALF CRAZY AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH takes you there through the eyes of Cowboy, a bit player from Texas out to have a good time. Most creative book I've read since Kerouac's ON THE ROAD.

Bo Johnson has created a wild ride for all of us who lived through that brief, but exciting time. And for those of us who didn't, Bo pulls back the curtain and give us a vivid and extremely funny look back. Beautifully written in a style that makes you want to be a bit crazy yourself.

Get down... and take this crazy trip tip. You'll be laughing all the way, reading Bo Johnson's latest novel... "Half Crazy Ain't Good Enough."
This is a riotous and hilarious romp through those crazy, hazy, insane times of the 1960's.
Well written and full of twists and turns that tweak the funny bone and produce page turning chuckles. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and have taken it a couple of times, as I inhaled this great little read.
Enjoy...

Half Crazy Ain't Good Enough is a funny, nutty adventure with a cherry on top. This book is chock-full of surprising characters, quotable dialogue and hilarious romps. Each chapter takes you someplace fresh and funny and -- well -- half crazy. Grab one at the great price. You will laugh and slap your knee and tell your pals about it

This is one very funny book. The characters are real characters and the situations are hilarious. Recommended reading for anyone who's 1/2 crazy or not and needs some good laughs to clear out the cobwebs. Can't wait for the sequel.
