This is the perfect book for an October read! It has 18 short stories all based on Halloween. Love these kinds of books.

Laird Barron's story was (in my humble opinion) the best in the anthology. Who knew a first date could be simultaneously scary and romantic. And, if you're an anthology hound like I am, you MUST get a hold of every Ellen Datlow anthology. That woman knows her stuff! Plus, as an added bonus, Laird Barron appears in almost all of her books.
