Overview

In the year 2229, John Doe #112 finds himself on a quest to uncover his own identity. What he unveils in the process is not only where he had come from, but also an alternate history of the human race.

In the present, Mark Marcus runs for his life after his wife –a prominent Los Angeles Times science journalist- is assassinated during the interview of one of the most reclusive physicists. What he discovers will shudder the very foundation of his meticulously-cared-for reality.

Although separated by time, John and Mark have more in common than meets the eye. However, not until the very end would we learn the secret that binds them both.

This is a very original narrative. I've read many suspenseful and sci-fi books and short stories, which left me breathless at the end. The "Halo of Time" definitely falls in this category. It crept on me slowly; I wasn't sure what to expect from chapter to chapter. And oh boy, this strange creature -"rat-cat-man", the "quantum meditation" and the ability of morphing the matter into a desired effect. all that kept my attention on the very edge. But there is more; I'm talking about this sense of wonder and mystery that is always present, just like Time itself. Of course there is a love story there as well. but I don't want to spoil anything by revealing it. Just read the book! -Alway
