One of the best books on the Viet Nam War

Outstanding. I it was hard to put the book down. When I did, I could not stop thinking of what I had read. By far and away a Viet Nam War classic. I found myself so absorbed that I felt part of the book and all the action the took place. It was by chance that I came across this classic. I was about to read Ripcord when I read a review that suggested that one read Hamburger Hill first. I am so happy that I took the suggestion. It is a fantastic read.

This is the best book about The Vietnam War I have ever head

This book is about the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division trying to take Hamburger Hill (Hill 937) but the encounter so many casualties they have to keep calling in for reinforcements. But you have to read this book to find out what it's really like.

    Saddest Vietnam Book

Hamburger Hill is a true story of the American's struggling to capture a Vietcong hill. They come incounter with NVA and call in for gunship. When the gunship comes you'll be shocked in the events after.

Never received this book from B&N, but never was charged either. There was a screw up in the order and it was canceled...
