Some of these tracks are so soothing that it's obvious they were meant to be background music, some are straight lounge pieces, and some come close to soul-jazz or even the outer edges of what could be called rock & roll Lenny Dee's chugging "Plantation Boogie" gets close to that line here. The casual listener will more than likely check out after a few tracks, but die-hard fans of the Hammond organ and there are many will no doubt find this to be close to Hammond Heaven.
