Based on international best-seller Brook's Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology, the Handbook of Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology is a concise and practical reference presenting best evidence-based practice in the diagnosis, treatment and management of pediatric endocrine disorders. It is an up-to-date clinical guide that focuses on bedside problem solving and provides a quick and reliable reference in the clinic.

The text offers salient clinical advice with sufficient scientific background to make it easily understandable and is supported by diagnostic and therapeutic decision trees for at-a-glance guidance. Chapter summaries and key point boxes allow instant identification of appropriate, relevant information and support self-directed learning.

The book is systematically structured, covering disorders of classic hormones as well as those of growth factors, regulatory peptides and neuroendocrinology. Age-specific endocrine disorders are considered in dedicated chapters and normal pediatric laboratory values and growth charts are included for rapid reference. Handbook of Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology is an invaluable resource for specialist pediatric endocrinologists or general pediatricians who deal with endocrine disorders.
