About the Author

Professor Alfred Golloch

was head of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry at the University of Duisburg (1974-–-2003). He prepared his diploma and doctoral thesis at the RWTH Aachen (Germany). 1974 he prepared his habilitation thesis and moved to Duisburg.
