    review of Handbook of WWII

this was a marked down on sale book which had some good pictures in it. the pictures and price were what caused me to purchase the book. Typically, books like these give only brief mention of important turning points and are generally just the highlights of the subject matter. this book was rather disjointed in its timeline and abrupt changes of venue. there were some errors in the text, which could be misleading to someone with only a cursory knowledge of the conflict. would i buy it again? probably, but again at a discounted price and primarily for the pictures, of which there are a good number.
